What is Sun City Comedy?
Established in 2008 Sun City Comedy is a business dedicated to the promotion and growth of comedy in El Paso TX and surrounding areas.
With a rooster that includes some of the funniest performers in the southwest, a professional and business like approach to comedy, and a competent and attentive staff we strive to put together the best and most affordable shows in the area.  Our ever expanding list of clients, customers, and sponsors including, UTEP, NMSU, Fort Bliss MWR, and The National Association of Financial Advisors, among others; will let you see why Sun City Comedy has been recognized and feature by several publications including  El Paso Times, What’s Up Magazine, KDBC4, Pulse Magazine, and many other reputable publications praising their work with local companies as well as charity organizations like El Paso Homeless Shelter, and Foster Parent Association.
 
How was Sun City Comedy Started?
Sun City Comedy started as a group of local comedians and variety show performers trying to get some stage time in venues around El Paso and not succeeding until Cincinnati Street Bar in the Cincinnati Entertainment District in El Paso, Texas started a small comedy open mic night, and with incentives like free Chinese food and free drinks, it quickly became a great spot for new, and up and coming performers to work and improve their craft. After a year of shows, Cincinnati St. Bar decided to discontinue the “comedy nights” promotion, but that didn’t stop the group of comedians, who after some trial and error, decided to start their own comedy nights at other venues around El Paso and Sun City Comedy was born.

Our clientele comes from all walks of life, but some of our more well known clients include Fort Bliss MWR, Reynold’s House, National Association of Financial Advisors, UTEP, NMSU, Socorro Independent School District, ANAMARC College, The El Paso Police Department, LULAC, COMCAST, and many more!
