 Sun City Comedy’s July’s Comedy Open Mic Contest at Maverick’s Bar & Grill (6999 Montana Ave.) was one for the books! With host, feature performer and MC The Wolf! and about 10 contestants trying to win the $100 cash prize this was one of the best nights of the summer! It was an awesome competition but at the end of the night the winner was up and coming comedians and FedEx guy, Chris Arce, who took the $100 giant check prize with his hilarious silent routine. Second place winner of the comedy open mic contest was comedian Alex Portillo, who took merchandise from our sponsors Hellpaso streetwear (check out their website for some awesome streetware at www.hellpasostore.com) Be sure to check out more events from Sun City Comedy this summer we are all over El Paso with Hilarious shows with national touring comedians as well as more comedy open mic contest with chances to win cash and other great prizes, check out the pictures from the show and be sure to look for us on facebook, twitter, and myspace!
