January 2010 Comedy Open Mic Contest at Maverick's Bar & Grill

January 2010 Comedy Open Mic Contest The first Comedy Open Mic Contest of the 2010 was held on January 20 hosted by The Wolf!, and it was a fun one! With every seat in the house taken and 7 contestants bringing their own unique style of comedy to the stage, the first show of 2010 was a success with 1^st place being a tie between comedian S3 and newcomer Sonny Gonzalez and splitting the $100 cash prize. We also held our FWD: JOKE contest, in which audience members tell us their favorite cell phone forwarded joke, and win a $50 gift certificate for Maverick’s Bar & Grill.

Remember Sun City Comedy Open Mic Contest is held once a month at Maverick’s Bar & Grill at 6999 Montana and its open to everyone 21+ w/ID. Contest entry and admittance to the show is free, winners are based on audience vote so bring all your friends!
